At Erina Kindergarten, we believe that every educator brings something unique to our learning community. Different cultures, languages, experiences, and perspectives enrich children’s everyday learning and help create an environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued.
Grace, one of our dedicated educators in the Bilbies Room, is a wonderful example of this diversity. Originally from South Korea, Grace recently shared her story by introducing herself in her native language, Korean, highlighting both her personal journey and her passion for early childhood education.
A Passion for Working with Children
Grace has been part of the Erina Kindergarten team for around four years. Her decision to become an educator came from her genuine love for working with children and supporting them through the important early years of development.
Every day, she enjoys building meaningful relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity, and celebrating their achievements—big and small. Watching children gain confidence, develop new skills, and explore the world around them is one of the most rewarding parts of her role.
A Multicultural Learning Environment
One of the things Grace appreciates most about Erina Kindergarten is the opportunity to be part of a multicultural community.
Children are exposed to different languages, traditions, and cultural experiences throughout the year, helping them develop an understanding and appreciation of the diverse world around them.
