At Erina Kindergarten, our educators are passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that reflect children's individual interests, needs, and development.

Today, we're pleased to introduce Zainab and Kiranjeet, two dedicated educators who bring enthusiasm, care, and a passion for early childhood education to our team.

Meet Zainab – Bush Babies Room

Zainab has been part of the Erina Kindergarten team for the past six months and currently works in our Bush Babies Room.

She is also working towards becoming an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), continuing to build her knowledge and skills while gaining valuable experience working alongside children and experienced educators.

Zainab enjoys being around children and being part of their everyday learning journey. Her ongoing professional development reflects her commitment to growing as an educator and supporting children during their early years.

Meet Kiranjeet – Gum Nuts Room

Kiranjeet is an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) working in our Gum Nuts Room.

She loves setting up meaningful experiences for children and particularly enjoys watching them grow, learn, and develop new skills each day.

For Kiranjeet, one of the wonderful things about working in early childhood is that every day is different. Children's interests, questions, ideas, and discoveries can create new opportunities for learning.

Planning Experiences Around Children's Interests

Both Zainab and Kiranjeet value creating experiences that are connected to children's individual interests and needs.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, educators can observe how children play, communicate, interact, and explore, then use these observations to help plan meaningful learning experiences.

These experiences can encourage children to:

  • Explore their interests

  • Develop new skills

  • Build confidence

  • Communicate their ideas

  • Learn through play

  • Develop relationships with others

Watching Children Grow and Learn

One of the most rewarding aspects of early childhood education is seeing children's development over time.

Kiranjeet particularly enjoys watching children learn something new and seeing their confidence develop. Small moments throughout the day can become important milestones in a child's learning journey.

Whether a child is trying a new activity, discovering a new interest, communicating an idea, or developing greater independence, educators have the opportunity to support and celebrate these moments.

Every Day Brings New Opportunities

As Kiranjeet describes, each day at Erina Kindergarten is different.

Children bring their own personalities, interests, questions, and ideas into the learning environment. This creates opportunities for educators to adapt experiences and respond to what children are curious about.

For Zainab and Kiranjeet, this is part of what makes working in early childhood education so rewarding.

Growing Together as Educators

Professional learning is also an important part of their journey.

As Zainab works towards her ECT qualification and Kiranjeet continues her role as an Early Childhood Teacher, both educators are committed to developing their knowledge and creating positive learning experiences for the children in their care.

At Erina Kindergarten, we believe that educators and children can learn and grow together.

Part of the Erina Kindergarten Team

We're proud to have Zainab and Kiranjeet as part of the Erina Kindergarten community.

Their passion for working with children, planning meaningful experiences, and responding to children's interests contributes to a learning environment where children can explore, discover, and develop at their own pace.

At Erina Kindergarten, every day brings new opportunities to learn, connect, and grow.
